On the current form of both teams this was always going to be a tough game for Hitchin. However the result came about from two free kicks which were really the only two shots on target. Telford, in their quest for promotion, upped the pace for a win in the second half but Hitchin stood firm, when was the last time we said that, and so deserved to get a result. It was great to see the team give their all for the new manager so well done lads.
Was it me or did the referee seem to be a bit one sided towards Telford ?
