What I've Noticed in Football - 2019/20

I see that while we have already played 5 of the current top 7, league leading Rushall have only played 1 of the top 12 (with their next two matches against those in 12th and 15th). It remains to be seen whether Rushall maintain their lofty position when they start having to play the better teams - it may be that the confidence earned from winning lots of early games will help them in the tougher ones.

2nd place Hednesford have already played 5 of the top 7, 3rd place Tamworth have only played 2 of the top 13.

Got to love a stat or two!

What with the obscure statto attack and the £££££ updates on the FA Cup, you are without doubt a trainee John TG :rotfl2: Good stuff there

Last season in the FA Cup, Hitchin went out to Solihull Moors, who lost in Round 2 to Blackpool.
This season in the FA Cup, Hitchin went out to Maidstone, who will play in Round 2 at Blackpool.

Stevenage to be relegated out of the football league to be replaced by -------------------------------Boreham Wood? (Ave. home attendance 712) Maybe their ground does not meet league requirements.

Boreham Woods ground is superb now, Desso pitch ( every Premier Club has to have one )
paid for by Arsenal as their ladies team plays there, new stands, unrecognisable from when we used to play them, so yes it’s got the grade for Football League use.
