Shefford are away today v Dunstable Town in the FA Cup 1st Qual round

Hardly a surprise. Both sides in the same Step 5 division, Shefford unbeaten at the top and Dunstable mid table. The interest for Hitchin fans? Henry Snee scored one of the goals.

Not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone but I could never have imagined a team from Shefford would progress at least two rounds further in the F.A. Cup than HTFC. Congratulations to everyone at Shefford.

And Shefford go marching on, with a surprise away win at Grays Athletic. Henry Snee and Charlie Thake among the scorers.

Fortunately the real Dunstable Town turned up a couple of weeks later, and comfortably turned over Shefford 4-1 in the league.
