Digger's dazzlers look like they will have to settle for the runners-up spot in the Spartan SM Premier. Tap-ins from Mason Spence and the impressive Alex Coppin in the first half were enough to secure the victory against the game 'Dirty Clarets' (a neat and clean side despite their nickname).
I had planned to go to the Biggleswade v AFC Dunstable game, but that was rained off.
Eleven out of ten for the warm welcome as I parted with my £4 (concession) at the gate. I'd already down-loaded the match programme onto my phone.
With the Brache in earshot of Luton Airport, we had planes passing overhead at regular intervals, but even the planes could not drown out Digger's orders from the bench. At Luton's training ground, the Stotfold photographer was brave enough to admit he is a Grimsby Town supporter.

Looked at the league table the other night. Does only one go up from that league?
