SUFFRAGETTES AT FOOTBALL
A novel match has been arranged for Good Friday afternoon, when visitors to the Bedford Road enclosure at Hitchin will be afforded an opportunity of seeing eleven Suffragettes striving for mastery with eleven Anti-Suffragettes.

It would be great to know more about this! There was a suffragettes exhibit at the museum a couple of years ago with a local emphasis.. a lot of connections I seem to recall but certainly don't remember any football related stuff
