Maidstone

Gutted for the lads after today's game. After taking the early lead and then conceding two quickfire goals I doubt there were many Canary fans who thought we could keep the Stones at bay for 76+ minutes and to have them having to keep the ball in the corner at the end is a tribute to how much of a fright we gave them.

We could easily have gone in worse than 1-2 down at half time, but in the second half we gave as good as we got and could so easily have come home looking forward to a replay on Monday night.

With next Saturday's opponents Bromsgrove Sporting managing an 8-2 win at Rushden today, that'll be another tough one, but if the lads can put in the same effort we saw today next week and every week, the signs are encouraging.

Well done lads, you did yourselves and your supporters proud today.

That was not a good penalty, easy for the keeper.

Have to agree. Keeper barely had to stretch for it sadly as felt we was more than worth a draw.

If we can play like we did in the 2nd half more this season then we should win more than we lose. Very encouraging show.

Often quite interesting to get the opposing fans' view of the match:

Never seen such unhappy supporters who won and have only lost twice in there last 10 games!
