How do such models work Neil? Do supporters pay xx amount to be shareholders and that's it, do have they have actual share is it just a membership scheme? Always been intrigued by the term "fan-owned", as surely there is still one, or a group, of actual Club owners, expect in Germany of course.
It's all here -> https://www.lewesfc.com/owners

Would be a wake-up call for the club in terms of ownership, democracy and the operating model!

If going down the crowd-funding path, would need to learn from the previous attempt, which probably didn't offer enough in the way of rewards for funding. And that's before recognising the current circumstances mean money is even tighter.

Maybe either way it needs a new vision for what the club is about in a post-coronavirus world. It also needs to be clear about where the club intends to be given we now have - what - 20 years on the lease at Top Field.

Is there any kind of gofundme, where we can just donate money to help?

There will be very shortly, along with some other things to try to raise some valuable income, as soon as we know the outcome of this season. Watch this space and our other Social Media outlets for future announcements.
If you don't challenge the status quo, you don't change for tomorrow.......

It’s just been announced that all football below the National League will stop immediately and all records will be expunged with no promotion or relegation!
