PRAISE FROM THE REFEREE

After our game at Kettering I received the following email from the match referee Karl Donaghey. He has given me permission to share it on our social media platforms.

It is very unusual to receive such a complimentary message from a referee—

Hi Roy

I wanted to touch base with the club to say well done last night , but more importantly to say thank you to the disciplined players and their excellent behaviour.

That helps me significantly as a referee to enjoy the game too.

I’d like to mention Stephen Gleeson who played the role as the on field captain and spoke to me correctly all game.
