We welcome Luton Town to Top Field for a special afternoon celebrating Mark Burke’s 40 years of service to Hitchin Town. We can now confirm the full timeline for the afternoon:

  • 12.00 Gates Open
  • 12.50 Guard of honour as the teams enter the pitch
  • 1.00 Kick Off – Hitchin Town v Luton Town
  • 1.50 Half Time – ex players, managers and officials are invited to meet at the tunnel for a photograph
  • 3.00 Main match complete
  • 4.30 Generation Games Kick Off – Ex Hitchin v Ex Luton as a series of 9v9 20 minute matches take place. Jack Wilshere will also be playing a part in these matches. We will be collecting voluntary donations for these matches.
  • 6.30 Generation Games complete
  • 6.45 Party in the Canary Club Hall for ex players, managers, officials and guests
  • 7.45 Hall opens to the public for join ready to watch the England match on the big screens

Tickets

Where possible we advise purchasing online. As well as being cheaper, it will ensure your quick and easy entry into the ground through the turnstiles.

The online box office remains open until 30 minutes after kick off.

If you do need to buy your tickets in person, our Matchday ticket office will be open from 11.30-13.15 , and can be accessed from the rear car park (behind the Canary Club). Payment at the ticket office is by card only. Once you have purchased a ticket at the Matchday Ticket Office you will then present your ticket at the turnstiles for entry. More details here:

Parking
Unfortunately supporter parking is not available in the club car park (unless you are a registered blue badge holder and have made prior arrangements). Once again thanks to the huge support of North Herts Council we are able to provide supporter parking on Butts Close. This will open from 11am. Access will be via the footpath between the Swimming Centre and Butts Close from Fishponds Road. All vehicles must be removed by 7pm at which point the barrier will be locked. Please follow all instructions provided by our marshals and drive slowly and safely. Please be patient whilst we ensure everyone gets parked safely

Food and Drink
The Canary Club bar is open from 11.00 with some of the lowest prices in Hitchin! Drinks can be taken into the ground in a reusable plastic cup. (£1 deposit required). You can exit to the bar during the match and will be re-admitted via the side gate by showing your hand-stamp.

Please enter the ground as early as possible before kick off to avoid congestion at the turnstiles. We have the following options inside the ground and you can still exit to the Canary Club Bar too:

Mad Squirrel Brewery are serving a great range of craft beers, ciders and lager. The Mad Squirrel 1865 Bar is located adjacent to the main stand.

Canary Kitchen will be open from when the turnstiles open serving a great range of food and soft drinks including our signature HTFC Pies.

Club Shop
Get your matchday programme, teamsheet, chocolate bars, sweets and HTFC merchandise from the club shop. This includes our brand new 26/27 Away Shirt which will be available to purchase in person for the first time.
