Hitchin Town were contacted two weeks ago by Hemel Hempstead requesting the opportunity to talk to Matt Spring about joining them as Assistant Manager. Matt considered the offer and agreed he would be committed to Hitchin for the immediate future and would still be with us up to the Solihull Moors match.
Matt has decided to take the position of Assistant Manager at Hemel but will remain registered with Hitchin as a player and could possibly play for us this season if he is required and available.
