SQUAD UPDATE
Preparations for the 2025/26 season have been ongoing for a number of weeks now as we plan how to bounce back and achieve promotion from step 4. The most critical of these preparations has been the planning of the squad and securing commitment from players. Michael and Stephen have been in discussions with potential new players and have an extensive list of target players to evaluate and meet. They have also been holding discussions with all of our current squad and we can now provide you with an update on how these discussions have progressed.
Retained players committed to Hitchin Town FC for the 2025/26 season:
Negotiations continue with the following players:

- Billy Heaps
- Bradley Dixon Smith
- Bradley Bell
Leaving the club are:
- Daniel Stokoe
- Rio Deall
- Josh Odell-Bature
Loan periods have expired and the following players have therefore returned to their parent clubs:
- Sebastian Stacey
- Jake Hutchinson
- Dom Martins
- Kobe Sinclair – Linton
The following Academy players have also been retained and are expected to play a part in our 2025/26 season:

- Blue Joy
- Tyrese Kamara

- John Albon – Goalkeeper Coach

- Nick Sopwoski – Matchday Support
- Derek Barker – Kit Man
