As we all know, the terrible Coronavirus pandemic is having a devastating effect in all walks of life. Indeed, those of you who have read Roy Izzard’s special bulletin on how this has affected our football club will understand that we now have no income, but outgoing expenditure which still needs to be met.

We need to look quickly to raise whatever income we can by whatever means possible, whilst fully appreciating the massive financial hardships that some will be enduring. But we must try to raise some income to ensure we can get our Club through these challenging and unprecedented times.

We’re therefore delighted to introduce an online 50/50 draw. Tickets will remain ÂŁ1, with supporters welcome to purchase up to 20 each. Whilst the draw is still called a 50/50, because, well, we’re all used it being called that, we hope that you won’t mind that we’ve tweaked the distribution of the prizing:

  • 40% to the Winner
  • 40% to Hitchin Town Football Club
  • 20% to the East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity, which is running a special #HereForEachOthers campaign to raise funds to support the Coronavirus effort in our local area.

Tickets are now on sale, with the draw due to be made live online via our Twitter feed on Wednesday 8th April @ 7:45pm.

We really appreciate any support you can give by participating in this draw, not only for our Club but also to enable Hitchin Town Football Club to support the NHS staff in some little way as well.

You can purchase your tickets for the draw by clicking here. Thank you for any support you can give.
