We are pleased to announce details of this month’s Women at the Game event.

Women at the Game is a national campaign aimed at encouraging more women to watch live football. We will be holding a pre-match event in the Canary Club function room, which all women are welcome to attend. This event will, above all, provide women with a chance to meet each other and feel comfortable watching the match, with new friends. Also available at the event will be light refreshments and representatives from Hitchin Town Belles and Hitchin Ladies, Hitchin’s two women’s teams.

So if you have ever thought about watching some local football, currently watch Premier League on TV but want a taste of a live match, or if you just want to visit Top Field for the first time, join us in the Canary Club on 31st March from 1.00pm!

More information about Women at the Game can be found here:

Jack James has an ankle injury and will be out for two weeks.
Kavan Cotter has moved to Oxford City as his parent club Luton Town wanted him to play at National league level.

On Monday we meet Didcot Town in the final of the BigFreeBet.Com Cup Final. This is arguably the most important game of the season. There is a prize of £4,000 for the winners so there is a great deal at stake. We need your support and want the crowd to be our extra man. We were lucky enough to be drawn at home so let us make this count with a big turn out of our supporters. It is 12 years since we last won the League Cup with victory over Bromsgrove. If we are successful on Monday it would be a third consecutive season with silverware and we still have the Herts Charity Cup Final to play.

So please come to Top Field on Monday and give the players the support that will make a difference.

Best reagrds,
Roy Izzard
